Date of Birth: July 6th, 1988
Place of Birth: Jaipur
Education: Delhi University 2008
Biography:
A boy hid in a dark corner of a room in Alwar, Rajasthan, and listened to the radio commentary of India vs Australia Davis Cup tie in 1966. His strict father wouldn’t allow him to stay up at night and indulge his love for tennis.
“My son will grow up to become a great tennis player and represent India at Davis Cup,” the boy decided in the dark of the night. I, Anmol Arora, was born in Jaipur, Rajasthan, in 1988. My destiny was decided on that dark night in Alwar. My father handed him a tennis racquet when I turned five. It was the only toy he ever knew.
I played tennis and bunked classes all through childhood and grew up to captain the state tennis team. Everything was set, but destiny had different plans.
A back injury ended my tennis career abruptly before it ever took off. I moved to Delhi in 2006 and joined Delhi University. Took up history because my best friend had all the notes prepared in advance. Then came a degree in journalism. I covered sports for the Indian Express and the Asian Age newspapers, but discovered words quite by accident. Wrote a love letter to his sweetheart and he has been writing ever since.
I started writing my debut novel, The Last Dance, in March 2014. I lives in New Delhi and enjoy long walks on cold winter evenings.
Nice to know you here…

I am quite unsure how I ended up on the blog, beautiful as it is, but I could not ignore the fact that the bio has an inconsistency of first person and third person. Don’t you think?
